The Prairie Players Community Theatre is located in Long Prairie,
Minnesota, just seventeen miles off I94, north on US Highway 71. We
are housed in the newly constructed Long Prairie-Grey Eagle High School
Performance Auditorium. Its 449-seat house, state-of-the-art lighting and
sound systems, and theatrically equipped stage greatly facilitate the
professionalism of our productions. We are within an easy drive
from Alexandria, Sauk Centre, Grey-Eagle, Little Falls, Browerville,
Wadena, Melrose, Glenwood and Saint Cloud. We are sponsored,
in part, by the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Community Education Program,
and receive grants through The Five Wings Arts Council, The Minnesota
Initiative Foundation, The Musser Fund, The Blandin Foundation,
The Minnesota 4-H Foundation, Minnesota Power, The State of
Minnesota Arts Board
, and by funds through the continued
support of our members and loyal audience.
